Trudy K. Perry

Biography

A long-time member of Covenant Christian Community, Trudy has developed a growing appreciation for New Thought Christianity, following a belief in the indwelling Spirit and the ability to connect with it through the practice of meditation.  Trudy is a yoga practitioner and currently spends much of her time in Richmond, VA caring for her mother, Barbara Perry.

At home, Trudy enjoys life in Washington, DC with her husband, Harold Singletary, and daughter Perry.  Her son, Jai, lives in Detroit, MI. Trudy is the daughter-in-law of the late Reverend Lola Johnson-Singletary, founding Pastor of Covenant Christian Community.  Trudy knits and looks forward to a time when she’ll be learning violin.  

Over the last several years, Trudy has worked as a project manager with Chickasaw Nation Industries for contracts with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  She is a graduate of Hampton University and Florida State University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
